Solitude

‘Solitude’ came to fruition whilst at the top of a mountain in the Lake District, UK, sat almost 1000 feet up amongst a thick layer of hazy fog. It’s a mountain I’ve climbed many times, but in these conditions, it felt very different, hauntingly surreal and beautiful.

With limited vision and encapsulated by the silhouettes of the surrounding peaks, it dawned on me just how solitary this experience was.
